Bharwa is the dense, filled style of mehndi, where almost no skin shows between the lines. The pictures show a palm of large paisleys and checks, a bridal back of the hand with a central mandala, and tiers of temple arches filled with jaal. Each comes in bold black, fine detail or henna brown. Type a change, such as peacock fill, and the design is drawn from that request.
- a full-hand design for a bride
- a dense pattern for a festival or a sangeet
- a reference sheet for a henna artist
Frequently asked questions
- What does filled mean here?
- The pattern covers the hand so that almost no bare skin shows between the lines. Each of the three designs is packed edge to edge.
- How is the fine detail version different?
- It draws the same dense fill in hairline strokes, so the lines are thinner and closer together.
- Can I have only the fingers, or a single hand?
- Yes. Type the change, such as fingers only or a left hand, and the request is drawn from those words.
- Are these photographs of henna on skin?
- No. They are flat design sheets drawn on white paper, not photographs of a hand.
About toile
This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
