A bob chart lets you say where a bob should end and how it should be shaped. One row of side-profile heads marks four lengths: Ear, Chin, Jaw and Collarbone. Another row names five shapes: Blunt, A-line, Inverted, Graduated and French bob, each with its cut line drawn. A third is an empty head with tick marks at each length, for marking your own. Type a bob, such as bob with bangs, and the chart is drawn for it.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I tell which length I mean?
- Use the four marks on the head: Ear, Chin, Jaw and Collarbone. Point to the one where you want the ends to fall.
- How do the five bob shapes differ?
- They are drawn side by side with their cut lines, so you can compare the edge of each one. Point to the shape you want.
- Can I type a different bob?
- Yes. Type the bob you want, such as curly bob, and the chart is drawn for it in place of the shapes shown.
- What do the three styles look like?
- The salon chart is plain black line art, the marked version draws the lengths in bright red, and the solid ink version fills the hair in black.
About toile
This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
