Reading 1Sunset arghya
Reading 2Soop offering
Reading 3Dawn on the river

Printable greeting cards for Chhath Puja, the four-day offering to Surya and Chhathi Maiya, sent to relatives in Bihar, Jharkhand, eastern Uttar Pradesh and abroad. Each card shows the sun over the ghat, the soop of offerings, or the river at dawn, in Madhubani, watercolor or layered paper. The soop card leaves a clear panel for your own words. Type a different twist, such as a peacock border, and the same styles will carry it.

  • a greeting to relatives before Chhath
  • a card sent by message to family abroad
  • a printed card for the family puja
  • a card for a neighbour or colleague

Frequently asked questions

Can I print these at home?
Yes. Each design is a flat sheet seen straight on, with an even margin of paper around it, ready to print at home or at a print shop.
What is the difference between the three styles?
Madhubani is a Mithila folk painting with fine black outlines in saffron, vermilion and green; dawn watercolor is soft washes of gold and coral over river blue; layered paper is thick cut-paper sheets with drop shadows.
Where is the greeting, and where is the blank panel?
Each card has its greeting lettered in. The soop card also leaves a clear empty panel below for your own message.
Can I ask for a different subject or twist?
Yes. A request such as a peacock border or a note in Hindi is a direction for the design, not a promised result.

About toile

This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
