Chibi is the small, big-headed way of drawing a character, about two or three heads tall. These are plain outlines with a large round head, a tiny body and blank faces, ready to trace. Each pose sheet shows three figures, standing, sitting or playful, in clean lineart, a sketch base with light blue guide circles, or a bold sticker outline. Type a different pose or prop and the base is drawn to match.
- a sticker or fan art base to trace
- a chibi character for a sketchbook page
- a template for a print of small characters
- a practice base for big-headed proportions
Frequently asked questions
- What does chibi mean?
- It is a style where a character is drawn small, two or three heads tall, with a large round head and a tiny body.
- How do the three line styles differ?
- Clean lineart is closed black outlines with no shading, the sketch base adds light blue construction circles under the black line, and bold outline is a thick sticker-like contour with no inner lines.
- Are the faces drawn?
- No. The heads are left blank, with the eye spaces open, so you draw the face yourself.
- Can I ask for a different pose?
- Yes. Type a pose or prop and the base is drawn to match, though a request is not a promised result.
About toile
This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
