Easy drawings for kids are step-by-step guides a parent or teacher prints so a child can draw something alone. Each of these nine pages shows one subject, a fish, a house or an owl, built in six numbered steps, each adding a single line. Each comes as marker lines, light pencil, or a bold outline with dotted guides. Type another subject in the direction box.

Frequently asked questions

Why six steps?
Each subject is split into six numbered boxes, so the child adds one line at a time and sees the drawing grow.
How is the new line shown?
In the marker style the new line of each step is red and the earlier lines are black. In the pencil style the earlier lines are pale gray and the new line is dark.
Can I ask for a different subject?
Yes. Type it in the direction box, such as a cat, a car or a rocket. A typed subject is a request, so the result may differ from the samples.

About toile

This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
