Printable mehndi designs drawn on a hand outline, for someone putting on mehndi on Eid morning, at home or for a sister and cousins. One design has a crescent and star circled by small flowers. One is a bold diagonal trail of flowers and leaves from the wrist. One is a full palm with a round mandala and a lantern motif. Type a direction such as on feet and the design is drawn for it.

  • a design for a sister and cousins
  • a pattern to copy with a henna cone
  • a reference to show a mehndi artist

Frequently asked questions

What are the three hand styles?
Traditional is a fine cone line with dense netting and dot fills. Khaleeji, the Gulf style, has bold outlined flowers with solid petals and open skin. Minimal is a single fine line with most of the hand left bare.
Is the design drawn on skin?
No. Each design is a drawing on a page, to copy with a henna cone.
What colour are the designs?
Traditional is a reddish-brown henna line on white. Khaleeji and minimal are black ink on white.
Can I ask for a different design?
Yes. Type a direction such as on feet and the design is drawn for it. That is a request, not a promised result.

About toile

This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
