Riddle cards for caidengmi, the Lantern Festival game. On the fifteenth night riddles hang beneath the lanterns and guests guess the answers, played in classrooms and at family parties. Each sheet is printable, with a space for the riddle and a line for the answer. The layouts are six hanging tags, a single lantern-shaped card, and a class sheet of eight cards. Frequently asked questions
- How is the game played?
- Riddles hang beneath the lanterns, and guests guess each answer and write it on the line.
- Do the cards come with riddles already written?
- No. The riddle and answer spaces are left empty, so you write your own riddles.
- What is the difference between the three styles?
- Red and gold uses gold lantern motifs on red and cream, ink and paper uses brush lanterns and clouds with a red seal, and classroom uses bright flat cartoon lanterns with thick borders.
- Can I change the look?
- Yes. Type a different look; the result may differ from the sample.
About toile
This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
