The lotus is the flower of Lakshmi and of purity rising from water, and it is drawn at the threshold for Diwali, Navratri and puja. These nine show three designs: an open lotus on rippling water, a four-layer lotus mandala, and a lotus whose centre holds a lit clay diya. Each comes as layered powder, as a laid floor on stone at dawn, or as a stained-glass panel. Type a colour, such as white lotus, to ask for it.
- a threshold for Diwali
- a Navratri floor
- a puja morning design
Frequently asked questions
- Is the lotus always pink?
- No. The pictures show pink and magenta lotuses; type a colour, such as blue lotus, to ask for another, and the result may differ from the nine shown.
- What is the difference between the three styles?
- Layered powder builds each petal in a gradient from deep to pale; the temple floor is laid at dawn with loose petals and a brass bowl; stained glass is flat colour panes held by black leading.
- Can I copy the mandala by hand?
- Yes. It is drawn from above in four layers, with a dotted outline round each petal, so each layer can be followed.
About toile
This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
