Worksheets a maths teacher hands out on 14 March, Pi Day, for the digits 3.14. Each sheet is one a class fills in: four circles of different sizes with a blank table for diameter, circumference and C ÷ d; a ten-by-ten grid of the digits of pi, one per square; and six numbered circle problems with ruled answer lines. Ask for a different level, such as younger pupils or a pie theme, and the same worksheet layout carries it.

  • a homework sheet on circumference
  • a station activity in a Pi Day lesson
  • a practice page for a circles unit

Frequently asked questions

What is on the sheets?
A page to measure circles with a blank table, a grid of pi digits to colour, and circle problems with radius diagrams and answer lines.
What is the digit grid for?
The key at the foot has ten boxes, one for each digit from 0 to 9, so pupils colour each square of pi by its digit.
What are the three looks?
Plain mono is black ink with ruled lines. Chalkboard is white chalk on dark green slate with pie doodles. Bright class uses blue, orange and yellow with coloured section bars.
Do the sheets include answers?
The answer spaces are left blank. An answer key is not one of the nine sheets.

About toile

This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
