Quilling patterns: flower, monogram and snowflake coils

Quilling builds a picture from coiled paper strips — teardrops, circles, scrolls, laid out and glued. Print the pattern sheet — the coil-shape guide you follow. The assembled photo shows the finished quilled result; it isn't what you print.

What coil shapes do these use?

Standard quilling shapes — tight coils, loose coils, teardrops, marquise and scrolls — the same alphabet most quilling patterns are built from.

Is this suitable for a beginner?

The flower and snowflake use basic coil shapes throughout; the monogram is more involved since every letter is filled with coils individually.

Can I get a different subject as a quilling pattern?
