Reading 1Reading log
Reading 2Reading strategies
Reading 3Name bookmark

Teachers and librarians print bookmarks three to a page and cut them apart for readers. The three designs are a reading log with date and pages columns, a strategies bookmark that lists what to do when stuck, and a name bookmark with a tassel hole and a space for the owner's name. Each comes as storybook watercolor, bright geometric or black outline to color in. Type a theme, such as animals or space, and the same strips can take it.

  • a reading log for a primary class
  • a strategies card for a guided reading group
  • a name bookmark for a school library book

Frequently asked questions

How many bookmarks are on a page?
Three tall strips side by side, with dashed cut lines between them, so each page gives three bookmarks.
What does the reading log hold?
A ruled table with Date and Pages columns and eight empty rows for the reader to fill in.
Does the name bookmark have a hole for a tassel?
Yes. It has a tassel hole circle at the top and a small stack of books at the foot.
What is the difference between the styles?
Storybook has watercolor borders and tiny animals, geometric has bold stripes and triangles, and the color-it style is black outline for a child to color.

About toile

This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
