Printable paper crowns for the Lucia procession on 13 December in Sweden, Norway and Finland. Children cut them out in class or at home and wear them with white gowns. The sheets give a candle crown with seven candles, a crown of lingonberry leaves and berries, and the cone hat of the star boys. Plain outline, folk papercut and a pre-colored print give the three styles.
- A class craft before the Lucia procession
- A dress-up piece for a school concert
- A home craft for children on 13 December
- A costume piece for a nursery play
Frequently asked questions
- How do I put the crown together?
- Cut along the solid lines, fold along the dashed lines and glue the tabs so the band closes into a ring.
- What is the star boy hat?
- The tall cone hat worn by the star boys in the procession: a quarter-circle with stars on it and a glue tab along one straight edge.
- What is the difference between the three styles?
- Plain outline is one black line to color by hand. Folk papercut has hearts, stars and leaves cut out in outline. Color print is pre-colored with green leaves, red berries, white candles and gold stars.
- Can I ask for a different look?
- Yes. Type a direction such as saffron buns or star wand and the template is made in that look. It is a request, not a promised result.
About toile
This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
