The letter a teacher sends home before or on the first day, to introduce themselves to the families and say how the year will go. Each template carries its headings spelled exactly and leaves the body as blank ruled lines for the teacher to write. Choose stationery, playful or minimal. Type a different school level, such as high school or a newsletter, and the three styles follow the request.
- a first-day letter home to families
- a meet-the-teacher page for open evening
- a welcome note to a class
- a template for the school newsletter
Frequently asked questions
- Is there any text already in the body?
- No. The body is blank ruled lines. The headings, such as Dear Families and Dear Students, are the only lettering.
- Is there room for a photo?
- The meet-the-teacher page has an empty framed box for a photo at the top.
- How do the styles differ?
- Stationery has a slim header and light serif headings, playful uses rounded hand lettering with small pencils and stars, and minimal uses thin rules and generous space.
- Can I ask for a different school level?
- Yes. Type a school level as a direction; the design follows the request and is not a guaranteed result.
About toile
This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
