Coloring pages for teenagers who have outgrown cartoon animals: an anime-style girl with headphones and cherry blossoms, a pile of high-top sneakers, and a Y2K collage of a flip phone, butterflies and a cassette. The lines are medium-fine, with patterns big enough for a felt-tip marker, not the tiny cells of an adult book. Each comes in a manga, doodle or patterned style. Type a different subject, such as a skateboard, and the same three styles carry it.
- a sketchbook warm-up for a teen artist
- a calm evening activity for a teenager
- a gift for a teen who likes anime or streetwear
- a fill-in page for a long bus ride
Frequently asked questions
- What is on the nine pages?
- Three scenes in three styles: a shoulders-up anime girl with wind-blown hair and cherry blossoms, a pile of high-top sneakers with laces, and a collage of a flip phone, butterflies, stars and a lip gloss tube.
- What is the difference between the three styles?
- Manga uses clean outlines with hair strands and folds as open shapes. Doodle has hand-drawn lines with stars, swirls and checkers filling the gaps. Patterned divides the larger shapes into stripes, dots, waves and checkers.
- How fine are the lines?
- Medium-fine. Every cell is big enough for a felt-tip marker, so the pages are not the very small areas of an adult coloring book.
- Can I ask for a different subject?
- Yes. Type a subject such as boba tea or a guitar and it is drawn in the same black-line style. It is a request, so the result may differ from the samples.
About toile
This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
