Devanagari written as a single large piece, for a wall, a card, a doorway or a practice sheet. The three words are the sacred syllable Om, the Hindi welcome word swagat, and the national motto, Satyameva Jayate. Each is drawn as broad-pen lettering, as brush strokes, or as hollow outlines ready to fill in. You can also type a twist, such as red ink, and the piece is drawn to that request.
- a doorway or entrance piece
- a wedding or festival card
- a calligraphy practice sheet
- a framed print for a home wall
Frequently asked questions
- Is this a font or a picture?
- A picture. Each word is drawn in calligraphy; it is not a font you install.
- What is the difference between the three styles?
- The broad pen has crisp square ends and steady thick and thin strokes. The brush has tapered strokes with a wet start. The outline has hollow letters with an empty interior, ready to colour.
- Can I write my own word?
- Yes. Type a word as a direction and it is drawn as a request; the nine pictures here are the nine samples.
- Is Om a religious symbol?
- Om is the sacred syllable of Hinduism, and the piece shows it as a calligraphic syllable, with its chandrabindu and dot placed above.
About toile
This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
