Reading 1Paper crane
Reading 2Jumping frog
Reading 3Lotus flower

Diagram sheets for three origami models, drawn the way origami books draw them: one step per panel, valley folds dashed, mountain folds dot-dashed, and an arrow for each move. The crane and the lotus are folded from a square, and the jumping frog from an index card. Use the sheets to learn the folds step by step, or print one for a child to follow. A different model you type is a request for the same diagram style.

  • a classroom origami lesson
  • a card or gift tag with a folded model
  • a reference sheet to keep beside the paper

Frequently asked questions

How are the folds marked?
Valley folds are dashed lines and mountain folds are dot-dash lines, and a small legend in the corner names both.
What do the three styles change?
The book style is black line on white with a light grey tint for the reverse side. The two-tone style shows coral red against white, so the reverse shows at every step. The kids' version uses bright colour and thick outlines.
Can I ask for a different model?
Yes. A model you type, such as an origami fox or a swan, is a request, not a promised result; it is drawn in the same diagram style.

About toile

This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
