A resume format is the layout you start from when you write your own resume. These nine show a fresher resume with sections for objective, education, skills and projects, a two-column resume with a contact sidebar, and a minimal black and white resume, each in a classic, modern or soft style. Only the headings are lettered; grey lines mark your details. Type a twist, such as teal accent, and it is a request, not a promised result.
- a first job application
- a fresher's first resume after school or college
- a resume to edit in your own word processor
- a printed copy to bring to an interview
Frequently asked questions
- What is on each page?
- Three resume layouts, a fresher, a two-column and a minimal one, each in three styles. The headings are lettered and the body is grey placeholder lines.
- Are my details already filled in?
- No. Your name and details are not written in. The grey lines show where they go, so you add your own text.
- What is the difference between the styles?
- Classic uses black serif type with thin rules, modern uses sans-serif type with a navy name bar, and soft uses a rounded layout with a sage tint behind the headings.
- Can I get a photo or a different colour?
- Type it as a twist, such as with photo or teal accent. The picture takes it as a request, not a promised layout.
About toile
This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
