A spell scroll is a prop: the party finds it, reads it once and it is burned. This pack shows a named Scroll of Fireball with a red wax seal, a blank scroll with ruled lines for the spell, and a Scroll of Protection with a warding circle. Each comes in parchment, woodcut or arcane midnight blue and gold. Type a different spell, such as frost or summoning, and the scroll keeps its title and writing space.
- a loot scroll the party finds in a tomb
- a blank scroll for a player to write their own spell
- a handout for a one-shot session
- a prop on the game table
Frequently asked questions
- What do the nine pictures show?
- Three readings in three styles: a named scroll titled Scroll of Fireball, a blank scroll with eight ruled lines, and a Scroll of Protection with a warding circle.
- Can I print the scroll?
- Yes. Each scroll is shown flat and straight on, inside an even page margin, so it prints as one sheet.
- Where does the player write the spell?
- On the blank scroll, in the ruled lines under the title band that reads Scroll of.
- What is the difference between the styles?
- Parchment has hand-inked brown lines and a red accent. Woodcut is black ink only, with bold carved lines and a blackletter title. Arcane is midnight blue with gold line sigils.
About toile
This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
