A trap card keeps the trigger, the check and the damage on paper, ready when a player steps on the wrong tile. This pack shows a pit trap with a spiked cross-section, a poison needle card with lines for spot, disarm and effect, and a blank trap card with boxes for trigger, save and damage. Each comes as parchment, ink line or hazard style. Type a trap, such as fire or falling rocks, and the card keeps its labels.
- a trap placed on a dungeon tile
- a blank card for a trap you design
- a hazard card kept beside the battle map
- a set of traps for one dungeon level
Frequently asked questions
- What do the nine pictures show?
- Three readings in three styles: a pit trap card, a poison needle card, and a blank trap card with a drawing window and labelled boxes.
- What is on the blank trap card?
- A blank drawing window, a blank title line, and three labelled boxes for Trigger, Save and Damage.
- Which style prints most simply?
- Ink line is black ink on white with thin rules and no fills, so it prints in one colour.
- Can I ask for a different trap?
- Yes. Fire, falling rocks or a magic rune can be asked for; the result is a request, not a promised picture, and the card keeps its labelled lines.
About toile
This page is a showcase and a starting point: nine samples already rendered, three readings of the pack crossed with three styles, each shown at the size and ratio it was made for. Take any of them further on the wall with a few words, or ask for all nine again under your own direction; a sign-in keeps what you make, and it is free while Toile is new. The recipe behind each sample — the subject, the style, the palette, the framing — travels with the image rather than staying private to the render: it is in the alt text of every sample and in the page's own structured data, so a search engine reads the same handles a person would.
